Welcome to Saint Luke's! We are a parish family dedicated to the worship of Almighty God and the spread of the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. Whether you are new to our parish, a longtime member, or just "surfing through" we pray for God's blessing upon you.

Our parish life is centered in worship at the Altar. Daily Morning and Evening Prayer together and daily celebration of the Holy Eucharist support all that we do in discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, outreach, and pastoral care. 

St. Luke’s combines the ideal balance of a progressive and challenging curriculum, along with a nurturing environment that allows children to demonstrate their personal best. There is a terrific spirit that you feel when you step onto the campus. It is immediately evident to visitors that they are seeing a faculty that enjoys teaching, parents who are involved educational partners, and most of all, children who are happy, active learners. 

In 1954, a passing reference in the Diocese of Louisiana newspaper noted that "a new mission is needed in the Broadmoor section of Baton Rouge". In 1955 Bishop Jones informed the diocesan convention of Louisiana that "steps are now being taken to organize a congregation in the Broadmoor-Goodwood section of Baton Rouge."
