Adult Choir Music Ministry opportunities are available for 6th graders through adult.
Cantate ~ Director: Ms. Green
Cantate is a chamber choral ensemble which assists at the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services, and major feast days of the Church year. This ensemble specializes in the early sacred motets and twentieth century literature.
Parish Chorale ~ Director: Ms. Green
For those who do not have time to attend a week night rehearsal, we offer this opportunity to provide leadership in singing at the 9:00 AM Family Eucharist on Sunday. This choir participates each Sunday (September-May) and for the major feast days of the Church year. Rehearsal begins promptly at 8:15 AM on Sunday mornings in the Music Room of the Music Suite.
Parish Choir of Saint Luke's ~ Director: Ms. Green
This choir provides choral leadership for the 11:00 AM Eucharist on Sundays, major feast days of the Church year, Evensongs, and special concerts. The choir provides the opportunity for singers, both amateur and professional, to sing from a wide choral repertoire spanning five hundred years. Regular attendance at the Wednesday night rehearsal (7:00-9:00 PM) and the Sunday morning warmup (10:15-10:45 AM) is required.
Westminster Ringers ~ Director: Dr. Dart
This Adult Handbell Ensemble is a mixed group of beginning and experienced adult ringers enriching the worship services of the Parish, accompanying hymns, anthems, and psalms, as well as playing voluntaries. The ensemble will learn about music theory and the practical techniques of bell-ringing. Participants will have the opportunity to play at the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM Eucharists and the major feast days of the Church year.
