April 27 & 28: Community Outreach

Three community service opportunities are coming up quickly at the end of April. Pitch in! - Sound the Alarm: On April 27, we need a team of volunteers (ages 16+) to join Red Cross for a fire safety initiative in the Gardere area. By installing free smoke alarms and providing safety information to low-income communities, the Sound the Alarm initiative has saved hundreds of lives since 2014. Meet at Hartley/Vey Park, 1702 Gardere Lane. 8:30 am to 1 pm. Please contact Owen Cope to volunteer: - The Lot Project: That same morning (April 27), another team of St. Luke's volunteers will cook and serve breakfast to the homeless at New Sunlight Baptist Church. May 5: EYC End-of-Year Party

Our St. Luke's/Trinity youth group will celebrate the end of another school year with a Cinco de Mayo party on May 5. They'll meet at Trinity at 4 pm for fun, games, yummy food and fellowship. Contact Julia Golding for more information:

May 5: Welcome Dinner

April 14: Saved Soup Sale

Our fundraising soup sale is back for a second year! Thanks to our team of Saved Soup cooks, we'll have plenty of soup to sell this Sunday morning. All proceeds will go to our Mite Box Children, so stock up on some soup and buy some for your friends and neighbors! $5 per container. And give these volunteer cooks a pat on the back, too. We're so grateful!
