Join Fr. Bryan this Fall for an informal spiritual journey as he shares and discusses favorite prayers from The Book of Common Prayer. Go to “St. Luke’s BR Good Book Club” on Facebook and request to join.
Taking up where we left off this past “Soup and Salvation”, we’ll talk about things like What is God after? What does God expect of me? What is the purpose of my life?
Learn how to follow Jesus in our lives, especially during these anxious and trying times.
What's Up Tuesday:
Join us in this group that keeps us in fellowship and in contact with friends from our St. Luke's church family. We open with a Collect, followed by a time of prayer intentions. Following prayer time, we have what we call "Inspiration Time", giving us a brief means of drawing inspiration from the Bible for our daily lives.
(Tuesday mornings, 10:00- 10:45 via Zoom, led by Gloria McKenzie)
Midweek Motivation features noonday prayers, lasting 5-10 minutes, followed by an introduction to Christian Meditation (sometimes called Contemplative or Centering Prayer). Course is currently being offered via Vimeo as well as in-person. You must notify Fr. Chris by 11am on the day of service to participate in person.
(2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, 12:00-12:45, led by Fr Chris Golding.)
Our group will gather around the book “Jesus Scenes.” Our discussions center around two points: What does the story reveal about Jesus? What does Jesus teach us, his followers, in the story?
(Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 am in Pope Hall, led by Meg Duggar)
This fall we will be reading a chapter each week from Tish Warren's "Liturgy of the Ordinary" and sharing our favorite thoughts on the "St. Luke's Young Adult Ministries" Facebook page.
Join us in this “laid back” book study to become aware of God's presence in surprising ways in the overlooked moments and routines of our days.
The kiddos Sunday school will be different this year, like everything else. We want families to put down the screens and spend time together in God's Word and growing closer as a family. Check each week for a new, fun family activity to build new traditions and ways to gather as a family in Christ.
