Thank you for joining Fr. Chris for a Gospel Reading, Reflection, and a Litany of Healing for use during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
ORDER OF SERVICE
Grace and peace be with you, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. And also with you.
Let us pray.
Collect for the St. Ephrem of Edessa (d. 373—Deacon, Hymn Writer, Teacher)
Pour out on us, O Lord, that same Spirit by which your deacon Ephrem rejoiced to proclaim in sacred song the mysteries of faith; and so gladden our hearts that we, like him, may be devoted to you alone; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Gospel Reading: John 16:12–15 (NRSV) Jesus said, “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, because he will take what is mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine. For this reason I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.”
Reflection—Fr. Chris Golding Weekly Prayer List>>
May God the Father bless you, God the Son heal you, God the Holy Spirit give you strength. May God the holy and undivided Trinity guard your body, save your soul, and bring you safely to his heavenly country; where he lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.
Let us go forth in the name of Christ. Thanks be to God.
