Masks for Church Members: Covered in Caring

The “St. Luke’s Sewists” have been hard at working making masks for medical personnel, and as we have now been directed to each wear a mask while going to the drugstore or while making groceries, the Sewists want to cover our fellow parishioners in caring. Masks are being made for you!

If you need a mask, contact me at and a means to get you the coverage you need will be arranged. Both adult and child-sized masks will be available.

Please enjoy this video from this past Sunday about this effort, and how a tradition that began long ago is being continued. Many thanks to Julie Owen for sharing this:

Finally, please continue your prayers for those who are on the front lines—our medical personnel, for those fighting and recovering from COVID-19, and for those seeking to eradicate this disease. May God’s holy angels surround them all.

Faithfully yours,

Becky Williams
