A prayer for the Annual Meeting:
Almighty and everliving God, source of all wisdom and understanding, be present with those who take counsel in St. Luke's for the renewal and mission of your Church. Teach us in all things to seek first your honor and glory. Guide us to perceive what is right, and grant us both the courage to pursue it and the grace to accomplish it; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Dear Father, Send down your blessings on law enforcement officers, firemen and first responders. Grant them courage, wisdom, strength and compassion in all their work. When the alarm sounds, let them faithfully serve you in their neighbor. Amen.
Dear Lord, Today, we pray for your peace. We pray that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard the hearts and minds of all health care workers. We also ask for courage. Please, grant them your spirit of courage. Grant them a sound mind as they make decisions. We pray for all the physicians, nurses, and health care providers involved in this pandemic. May they be blessed with the wisdom and grace needed to provide the best care possible. Amen.
