St. Luke's Family Ministy
Providing faith formation and pastoral support for children, youth and families.

Family Ministry
St. Luke’s Family Ministry is dedicated to building meaningful connections, encouraging spiritual growth, and inspiring families to serve with compassion. We strive to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive community where every child, youth, and family member is empowered to live out their faith and make a positive impact in the world.
Nursery
Open to newborns through four-year-olds, the nursery is located just down the walkway from the church. The nursery is the first door just outside the gate to Witter Hall. If you are unable to find it, you can ask anyone for assistance. The nursery is open from 9:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. every Sunday, with at least two trained staff members.

Children's Chapel
Children’s Chapel is offered during the 10:00 a.m. worship service for children ages four to eight. Before the service begins, you’ll see a Children’s Chapel adult leader carrying a special banner near the church entrance. Children are invited to gather at the banner and follow the leader to the Witter Conference Room for special prayers, lessons, and songs during the service. The leaders will bring the children back to church after the sermon to sit with their families.
Youth Church
Students in grades 6–12 are invited to participate in Youth Church during the main service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month (unless otherwise noted). They begin in the sanctuary and are dismissed to their classroom at the start of the service, returning in time for the Peace. Youth Church provides age-appropriate Christian formation and Bible study, creating space for students to deepen their faith and engage with Scripture in meaningful ways.

Episcopal Youth Community
EYC, or Episcopal Youth Community, is a ministry at St. Luke's and within the broader Episcopal Church that focuses on young people's spiritual formation and community engagement between 6th and 12th grades. EYC often includes activities, events, and programs designed to nurture youth's faith and leadership development. It often empowers young people to explore and deepen their spiritual journey while encouraging active participation in the broader church community.
Youth Vestry
The youth vestry is a leadership/advisory council that represents the interests and concerns of youth and their peers within St. Luke’s. It serves as a platform for youth to voice their opinions, engage in activities at St. Luke’s, and advocate for issues that affect them. The youth vestry works closely with the Family Ministry Coordinator, Sarah Bolt, to address youth-related issues and organize and promote events. This is an opportunity for youth to develop leadership skills, participate in decision-making processes, and make a difference in the St. Luke’s community and beyond.

Club 4-5
This ministry of St. Luke’s Church is designed especially for our 4th and 5th graders—an age group that often finds itself in a unique, in-between space: no longer little kids, but not quite youth group ready. Our goal is to provide a space where these students can build meaningful friendships, grow in their faith, and begin to take ownership of their spiritual journey. Through fun, fellowship, and faith-based activities, we hope Club 4-5 becomes a place where your child feels seen, valued, and connected.
Intergenerational Events
St. Luke’s is dedicated to building meaningful connections across all generations, encouraging shared spiritual growth, and inspiring our community to serve with compassion. We strive to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment where every child, youth, adult, and elder is empowered to live out their faith and make a positive impact in the world.
