Ways to Give

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15.  It is with thanksgiving that we should continue our offerings to God.

We currently accept offerings in several convenient ways: a secure online form, text to give, PayPal, or you can mail a check to our church office (8833 Goodwood Boulevard 70806).

We appreciate all gifts to the church, which allow us to further our mission and to spread the love of the Lord across our community and beyond.

Grace and Gratitude

For members and friends of St. Luke's

Why Consecration Sunday?

Consecration Sunday is based on the biblical philosophy of the need of the giver to give for his or her own spiritual development, rather than on the need of the church to receive. Instead of treating people like members of a social club who should pay dues, we will treat people like followers of Jesus Christ who want to give unselfishly as an act of discipleship. Consecration Sunday encourages people toward proportionate and systematic giving in response to the question, “What percentage of my income is God calling me to give?”

Offered in gratitude for God’s blessings and to further God’s work in the world, every pledge matters, no matter how large or small. Please prayerfully consider how much your family can offer to the church as a sacrificial gift, and do so knowing that you are giving back a part of God's gifts to you.

We thank you in advance for your financial commitment to St. Luke's, and your ongoing gifts of time and talent!

"Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above."

A message from Fr. Bryan Owen

Every Sunday when we gather for worship, we give thanks to God for the many gifts we have received, including the splendor of creation, the beauty of this world, the wonder of life, the blessings of family and friends, and the mystery of love. And most of all we thank God for the gift of his Son Jesus - for his teachings, for the example of his holy life, and for his death and resurrection. Through Jesus, God has given us the priceless gift of eternal life and the unshakeable confidence that nothing in all of creation will ever separate us from his love.

In response to God's gracious self-giving in Jesus, we offer our gifts of time, talent, and treasure for the spread of the Kingdom. Our giving at St. Luke's allows us to:

  • worship in our beautiful church;
  • support a clergy and lay staff that faithfully help us fulfill our mission;
  • offer Christian formation classes for all ages, and host community groups, in our buildings;
  • provide pastoral care for the sick, the shut-in, and the hurting;
  • and reach out into the community to serve the suffering, the friendless, and the needy.

Your generous gifts to St. Luke’s make all of this possible. Thank you for helping St. Luke’s touch lives with the transforming love of Jesus Christ.
