The Importance of Your Pledge during Stewardship Month at St. Luke's

October 2021

Dear St. Luke’s Church Family,

As we begin our annual Stewardship Campaign, let us remember that we are all part of something greater than ourselves.  We are part of God’s Church! What an incredible blessing – especially as we navigate through Hurricane Ida recovery and the continued Covid-19 pandemic!  To be reminded that we are not in this alone, that after suffering comes relief is a powerfully comforting message and a gift from Christ.  Remember that “All this is for your benefit so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:15

St. Luke’s continues to be a place of refuge in times of need and solace for our souls!  And pledging is a way that all of us together can make a bigger impact on all that makes St. Luke’s such a wonderful place.  The many ministries of St. Luke’s are made possible through our pledges.

In these uncertain times, we understand that making a commitment may be a difficult decision to make.  However, if you are able, we hope that you will prayerfully consider making a promise to financially support St. Luke’s by making a pledge.  Every pledge is important – no matter the size and we want everyone to know your participation makes a difference.

If you have questions or concerns about making a pledge or would like to talk with someone about ways to get involved in our many Church ministries, please reach out to Father Bryan, members of the Vestry, or one of us.

Love in Christ,

Laura Thomas and Martha Singletary
