CONSECRATION SUNDAY UPDATE:

For those who may not have heard the wonderful news regarding Consecration Sunday, here is a synopsis of the day and its results. Not only was the day filled with plenty of great food and fellowship, but we also had an exceptional response to the question, “What is God calling me to give to His church?”

During the two worship services that one day, 87 commitment cards were received for 2023 as compared to a total of 110 pledges for 2022 received during the entire three-month period, October to December 2021. Of those 87 pledges, 54 grew a step by increasing their pledge over the prior year, and another 18 pledged who had not done so in 2021, although they actually made contributions.

Because of the commitments of those 87, in that one day, Consecration Sunday, we received total pledges of $512,000 for 2023 compared to $515,000 in total pledged for 2022. Needless to say, St. Luke’s parishioners listened and replied to God’s call.

Although there are those who may not have had the opportunity or were not quite ready to commit for 2023, we still have many ways to do so. There are currently pledge cards in the pews.  You may also go online to either make your pledge there or print a form to complete and mail. Or you may use the QR code below.

To everyone who has or will answer God's call to give, we extend our heartfelt thanks. Your gifts will help make 2023 a special one at St. Luke's!
