New Vestry Members

New members of the Vestry were voted into office on January 11 at the Annual Meeting.
On January 30 and 31, the Vestry will be on retreat at the Solomon Episcopal Conference Center in Loranger, LA. With new members joining the Vestry, this time away provides an opportunity for Vestry members, the rector, and the associate rector to build relationships and strengthen the leadership team. The retreat reflects the Episcopal Church’s understanding that all of the baptized, not only clergy, are ministers of the Gospel, with the Vestry called to work alongside the clergy in leadership and oversight of the parish.
“We will spend the weekend grounded in fellowship and prayer as we review where St. Luke's has been over the last year, explore current strengths, challenges, and opportunities, and look to the future with an eye towards setting goals for addressing challenges and seizing opportunities,” said Fr. Bryan.
The Vestry will be commissioned formally for their work in 2026 during the service on Sunday, February 1.
